Ultimate learning goal: At the end of this lecture, the students shall be able to design a material for a given application, i.e. bearing a set of properties required for the application. This includes the capability (i) to conceive the synthesis of a desired material, (ii) conceive the processing of a desired material.

Assessment is performed via oral exams (30 minutes). The exams take place at the Institute of Materials Chemistry (building BC, 2nd floor). You will be picked up for the exam at the secretary's office. To take an appointment for an exam, please email Miriam Unterlass at miriam.unterlass@tuwien.ac.at Make sure that your inquiry for an examination appointment includes (i) your full name, (ii) your matriculation number, (iii) at least three dates and times that would work well for you, (iv) your telephone number (necessary in case of last-minute cancellation of your exam appointment for unforseen reasons such as of sick leave).
