Aim of course

Synthesis of selected molecular precursors and their conversion to functional materials including their characterization

Subject of course

Selected examples show the synthesis and characterisation of molecular precursors and their conversion to functional materials. Polysilazanes: SiC/SiN-ceramics Metal-alkoxides: electroceramics (BaTiO3) Ti-alkoxide: TiO2 (photo catalysis) Si/Al-alkoxides: SiO2/Al2O3-supports for catalysts (isomerisation reactions)
