Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain the most relevant bioanalytical methods providing spatially resolved information in tissue. Students will be familiarized with latest research and modern methods like in situ genomics and transcriptomics, spatial mass spectrometry for proteomics/metaboloimics/lipidomics/glycomics, singel cell multi-omics appraoches, fluorescence microscopy, super resolution microscopy and atomic force microscopy in the context of Omics.

Subject of course

Introduction to analytical approaches providing spatially resolved information for

  • Genomics
  • Transcritpomics
  • Proteomics
  • Metabolomics (including Lipidomics)
  • Glycomics
  • Singel Cell Analysis
