Examination modalities

Partial performance 1 - practical exercise (experimental part): the experimental part is completed in one of the research groups/project groups assigned from the various lecturers. As partial performance 1 is a partial performance that has to be completed over a longer period of time (the practical exercise extends over several days), there is no possibility of repetition for this partial performance.
Partial performance 2 - Report (written part): a written report must be prepared based on the experimental investigations carried out in the laboratory. As this part can only be completed over several days, there is no opportunity to repeat this part either.
Substitute performances are also not possible, as the learning outcomes cannot be achieved by completing the substitute performances.
The level of attendance required for positive completion of the course in the experimental part is 100%; absences due to illness can be made up by personal agreement with the supervisor(s).
