Thermodynamic and kinetic principles as well as reaction mechanisms of electrochemical processes of both microscopic and macroscopic nature.
Application of electrochemical methods and processes, e.g. for the production and modification of metallic coatings, for material conversion and electrolysis, in (electro)chemical sensors and galvanic cells, etc.. Cathodic and anodic processes (metal deposition and dissolution or oxidation, corrosion, electrocatalysis).
Flipped Classroom Format. Documents are provided in advance and discussed during the lecture. Interactive questions of the students and discussions are explicitly desired!The lecture will be held in presence.
