After successful completion of the course, students are able to describe the role of process analytics in the chemical industry. They are aware of the relevance of chemical information in the development of new processes and in the optimization of existing (bio) chemical production processes. Process Analytical Chemistry as integral part in the development, optimization and monitoring of production processes in the chemical industry (process analytical technology, PAT; quality by design, QbD).
