Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to methodically categorize important instrumentation in Bioanalytics, are able to explain the concepts in detail and to name important applications.

Subject of course

Cell and organelle analytics, Biomolecules and their function, Protein analytics, Proteomics, Biochromatographic separation techniques, Electrophoretic separation techniques, Analytical centrifugation/sedimentation techniques, Enzymatic analytical techniques, Immunoanalytical techniques, On- and off-line mass spectrometric techniques, UV/Vis/IR- and fluorescence spectroscopy, microscopy, circular dichroism, Techniques for the studying protein-protein interactions, q-PCR, NGS, DNA/protein/tissue microarrays and microfluidics techniques
