After successful completion of the course, students are able to assess the high relevance of recycling from different aspects such as raw material utilization and supply, environmental protection,.. They know important recycling techniques for various product groups and have some ideas of legal rules and guidelines.
Information about state-of-the-art processes and procedures within the field of inorganic technologies and process engineering with emphasis on recovery of valuable materials as secondary raw materials, i.e. valuables like precious, refractory and construction materials, used tires, electronic waste, rare-earth elements, used clothes, composites, glass, paper etc. Discussion of the problems of disposal of residual products, evaluation of recovery, legal and ecomonic aspects, management of cycle of materials, terminology.
Presentation of the contents by ppt, the files being available to the students in TISS. Free questioning by the students as well as questions to the auditorium by the lecturers. Presentation of representative samples
