After successful completion of the course, students are able to constitute the development and advantages of composite materials, to categorize various manufacturing processes, to describe the physical and chemical behavior at interfaces and surfaces, and to compare the applications in everyday life and industrial practice.
Fundamentals and industrial practical experience of modern composite materials and compounds (metallic, ceramic and organic composites). Physical chemistry of interfaces and surfaces, technology of production, applications, properties and characterization of composite materials. Lecturers from industry will also be included in the lecture.
Presentation of the contents by ppt, the files being available to the students in TISS and TUWEL respectively. Free questioning by the students as well as questions to the auditorium by the lecturers. Presentation of representative samples
