Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to recognize the importance of recycling from different aspects, to explain individual methods of chemical technologies and their procedural principles. These include the production of materials at high pressures and temperatures, as well as semiconductors, plastics and major chemical products.

Subject of course

Recycling of inorganic materials Processing at high pressures and/or temperatures (e.g. diamond, electrographite, SiC) Prozessing for high purity (e.g. semiconductor silicon, pigments) Macromolcecular chemistry (plastics and fibers) Industrial products like detergents, textiles, dyes

Teaching methods

Presentation of the contents by ppt, the files being available to the students in TISS. Free questioning by the students as wel as questions to the auditorium by the lecturers. Presentation of representative samples
