After successful completion of the course, students are able to identify clean green technologies as well as innovations in the field of chemistry based on the 12 principles of Green Chemistry and will be aware of current research trends.

Principles of Green Chemistry based on current trends, developments and innovations from academic and industrial research.

Teaching of content through lecture and joint discussion of current research areas in green chemistry.

The course takes place in blocked form, with one day each being held on site by TU Wien, BOKU and the University of Vienna. Each unit will have four lectures followed by discussion and laboratory tours. In order to successfully complete the course, active participation is expected and a written summary of each lecture must then be uploaded to the TUWEL.
