Aim of course

This lecture offers a theoretical approach to modern total organic synthesis. The topics focus on the strategies to effect the generation of natural products by purely organic chemistry approaches. The course is a lecture and a seminar, where specific examples are discussed and relevant chemical approaches defined. Advanced organic synthesis is included.

Subject of course

Learning about the total synthesis of molecules, with a focus on stereoselective synthesis.
