After successful completion of the course, students are able to describe, compare and apply the basic operations of mechanical process engineering i.e. particle characterization, floatation, spraying, flocculation, granulation, instantization and separation techniques.
Lecture includes: Identification of disperse systems II (porosimetry, surface determination of aggregates), grinding processes II, flotation, spraying, flocculation, granulation (especially in pharmacy), instantization, solid-liquid separation II.
Alle Vorlesungen finden als Online Vorlesungen statt.

Oral examination (duration: approx. 60 min): 3 questions according to the current questionnaire (TISS, SS_2021).
Assessment criteria for the oral exam: Understanding, outline sketches, technical terms, formula knowledge, thematic completeness.
From October 1st, 2021: attendance test (duration: 120 min), office: Mauschitz
The assessment of the knowledge acquired by the students takes place within the framework of a written examination in which questions from the current catalog of questions (TISS, SS_2021) and a sample calculation are to be answered. 9 questions each with 5 points and 1 calculation example each with 10 points
non-binding grading scale:
1 ... 27 points: Nicht Grnügend (N5)
28 ... 34 points: Genügend (G4)
35 ... 41 points: Befriedigend (B3)
42 ... 48 points: Gut (U2)
49 ... 55 points: Sehr Gut (S1)
