Atomic physics of exotic atoms - from the hydrogen atom to the exotic atom. Production of exotic atoms at particle accelerators. Muonic atoms for the investigation of exotic atomic as well as molecular physics and weak interaction. Hadronic atoms - especially pionic and kaonic hydrogen atoms - in theory and experiment. Introduction into recent theoretical access to low-energy QCD, especially quantum field theoretical description and chiral perturbation theory.
