Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to use Linux in practice, to simulate electronic circuits illustrating the whole signal chain from the detector to signal processing and further processing, to code micro processors for basic data acquisition, to analyse data and to graphically display these with existing frameworks, to compare measured data to simulated data as well as to evaluate the relevance of Monte Carlo simulations for experiment planing.
