Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

  1. describe the phases of an experiment consisting of the physical, technical or medical question, simulation, set-up, implemenetation (data acquisition) and the analysis,
  2. explain all elements of an experimental set-up consisting of the apparatus, signals, analog electronics, digitisation, digital electronics, PC interface anf finally the acquired data.
