Aim of course

Advised introduction to scientific work in metrology

Development of innovative methods in different sections of metrology

Increasing the knowledge in metrological techniques and applications

Acquisition of quantitative evaluations including measurement uncertainty calculations including documentation and reporting of results  

Subject of course

Implementation of comprehensive experimental and/or theoretical work including project conception, work plan and schedule, experimental and/or theoretical work, documentation and presentation

Acquisition of basic physical phenomena and innovative experimental and/or theoretical techniques and methods in metrological sections - time and frequency, dimensonal metrology, radioactivity, dosimetry, acustics, vibration, pressure, force, hardness, flow, electricity, gravimetry, mass, density, viscosity, traffic measurements, photometry, temperatur and heat

Additional information

The project will be carried out in cooperation with the Federal Office of Meterology and Surveying - the Austrian National Metrology Insitute.
