Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the setup and the practical process flow in high energy physics experiments. Detailed results depend on the type of the practical work.

Subject of course

The development and the realisation of high energy physics experiments requires the application of different experimental methods. Subjects amongst others are electronics development, application of semiconductors, statistical methods for data analysis or data reconstruction.
