After successful completion of the course, students are able to read, comprehend and evaluate scientific publications in the field of Quantum Technology (this semester: matter wave optics, quantum simulation, hybrid quantum systems)
The lecture will take place on Thursdays at 2 pm.
The course consists of three distinct parts. The topics are covered during the lectures and supplemented by current research work, and scientific papers. Thus, the material is practically introduced and deepened through subsequent discussion.
Beurteilung der Studentenvorträge + take home exam
take home exam: Jeder Student bekommt eine wissenschaftliche Arbeit aus dem Gebiet der Vorlesung. Diese soll er/sie lesen und beurteilen (=eine Krtik schreiben, wie ein 'Referee Report).DIe Arbeit wird dann gemeinsam besprochen und beurteilt.
