Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand and explain different methods that are regularly applied in isotope technology, by researching and reading current literature.

Subject of course

Properties of radioactive materials, radio assay methods, thickness and density gauges, radiography, auto radiography, tracer techniques, radio immuno assay, production and application of short lived radioactive materials, special examples for the application of radionuclides in industry, research and medicine, legistic requirements for the use of radioactive materials.
