After successful completion of the course, students are able to
1.) describe the behaviour of radionuclides in ecological systems,
2.) apply qualitatevly and quantitativly transport models,
3.) estimate radiation exposure due to radioavtive sources,
4.) calculate specific application cases,
5.) evaluate the emission of radioactive substances into the environment based on specific cases e.g. Chernobyl, Fukushima, indoor radon and finaly
6.) rank radiation caused health risks.

terrestrial and cosmic radaition, release of radiaactive material in water bodies and the atmosphere,
examples of previous releases
Written examination based on a list of questions (32 questions), 3 questions, 1 hour duration
