Aim of course

In the frame of this "Projektarbeit" we will build up an ultra cold atom experiment from the scratch and in succession use it to examine step by step the world of ultracold atoms.

Subject of course

This includes: Experiments with laser cooled atoms, slow light, storing light, spectroscopy techniques, laser physics, various particle traps, imaging techniques, image processing, process control, precision measurements
