Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

  • to understand questions in environmental analysis through radioanalysis
  • to be familiar with measuring devices
  • to perform measurements and calculations correctly
  • to evaluate data
  • to prepare data graphically
  • to interprete the results
  • to find connections between literature and obtained data
  • to summarize in a report.

Subject of course

Guidance for planning and practical scientific work with nuclear methods in the field of environmental analysis. Discussions of ongoing work and presentation of the results in a project report will provide a basic training for a future thesis or professional scientific work.

Teaching methods

Application of relevant knowledge and concepts to current research projects, by setting up a research plan, making the necessary measurements, independent assessment of the data acquired, resulting in a written report.
