Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to use modern techniques in quantum optics within an experimental or theoretical project. This can include acquiring expertise in spectroscopy, photon statistics, principles of laser physics, atom-photon interaction, quantum computation, quantum communication, etc. The main goal of the project, its context in the current research field and the used methods can be adequately described (usually in the form of a report).
