Aim of course

Broadening of theoretical knowledge in nuclear, neutron and condensed matter physics by beam tube experiments of a research reactor and in the water tank surrounding a radioactive neutron source.

Subject of course

Thermal and epithermal neutron flux, radiactive neutron source, resonance integral; energy distribution of epithermal neutrons: neutron temperature, cross-section and half-width of neutron resonances; neutron time-of-flight spectroscopic techniques, crystal structure investigation by neutron diffraction, determination of domain size of ferromagnets by neutron depolarisation
