Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to carry out basic neutron optical experiments in the field of neutron interferometry and polarimetry, to evaluate the obtained data and to interpret the results. This will prepare the students for an efficient master thesis.

Subject of course

Experiments on neutron optics, neutron interferometry, perfect chrystal diffraction, small angle scattering, quantum physics, ultracold neutrous, atom optics.
