This organization will give information about the study of Technical Physics, about the Faculty of Physics, about the organization of the lecture Basic Physics 1 and the accompanying exercises. Further there will be given talks from members of the four physics institutes about actual research topics.
The course takes place on Sept. 30, 2016 from 09:00 to 16:30 and on Thursday Oct. 1, 2016 from 10:15 to 11:30 at Freihaus lecture hall FH HS1 (Wiedner Hauptstrasse 8-10 in red tower at 3nd floor).

Laut Beschluss der Studienkommission für Technische Physik vom 24.4.2008 (Vorsitzender Prof. E. Bauer) ist für diese Lehrveranstaltung ein Zeugnis mit der Beurteilung: "mit Erfolg teilgenommen" auszustellen. Allerdings ist die Ausstellung an die erfolgreiche Absolvierung der VO "Grundlagen der Physik I" gekoppelt, d.h. erfolgt erst im Zuge der Austellung des Zeugnisses über Grundlagen der Physik I.
