Ignore text above. This is not a course, it is a project work. What you will be able to do depends on the precise choice of topic. Usually it is something related to black holes and/or the holographic principle. More than 90% of the time this will be a classical paper-and-pencil theory project, possibly using also Mathematica as tool. In less than 10% of the cases (and only upon request) the project can involve numerical general relativity.
