After successful completion of the course, students are able to calculate Stochastic processes, to describe magnetic systems by means of mean-field approximations, to solve related problems as well as to analyse phase transitions and critical phenomena in terms of their phase-diagrams and using specific approximation schemes. Students can solve and present exercises and discuss their different aspects.
see lecture 132.065 Statistical Physics II.
Accompanied tutorial to the lecture statistical physics II (132.065) where students should solve and present problems independently. Tutorials and plenum presentations take place intermittendly every two weeks.
Details will be presented in the first regular lecture on Statistical Physics II on Thursday 07.03.2024, 9:15 , in the room EI 1 Geodäsie.
