After successful completion of the course, students are able to calculate Stochastic processes, to describe transport phenomena using the Fokker-Planck and Boltzmann‘s equation, to solve related problems as well as to analyse phase transitions and critical phenomena. Students can solve and present exercises and discuss their different aspects.
see lecture 132.065 Statistical Physics II.
Accompanied tutorial to the lecture statistical physics II (132.065) where students should solve and present problems independently. The tutorial takes place every two weeks.
First meeting Tue 05.03.2019, 08:30 FH HS 6
For all further details see lecture Statistical Physics II.
In every tutorial students may mark prepared examples for points. At the end of the semester the students have to have half of all points (where the lowest score is discarded) to qualify for the written VU test, which will include questions regarding the lecture Statistical Physics II, and count for both the lecture and the excersises.
