Examination modalities

Two written exams (90%):

In both exams 40% of the points are needed as a minimum.

An additional test at the beginning of the SS2018 can replace the exam in which less points have been gained.

Time of tests: 2 1/2 hours; exam tasks from lectures and tutorials;

 Tutorium/"Kreuzerlübung" (10%):

The tutorial takes place online via Zoom (there may be a presence tutorial). Until the end of the day before the tutorial (i.e. until Thursday 23:59) the scanned solutions of the exercises can be uploaded to TUWEL and the crosses can be placed.

There will be 6 exercise sheets with 5 crosses each. Already 25 crosses are 100% for the tutorial. More crosses give additional points.

To explain the exercise, students are randomly selected by the tutors. If it turns out that the exercise has not been calculated by the student themselve, all crosses of the week are removed.

There is no obligation to participate in all tutorials, but at least 13 crosses must be placed. Crosses only count if you participate.

Of the combined points (tests and tutorium) 50% are needed for passing, 62.5% for a grade of 3, 75% for a grade of 2, and 87.5% for a grade of 1.
