Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to are in postion to reproduce the  contents as outlined in detail in the english version of "Lehrinhalte" in written as well as oral form. Moreover the students will be able to apply the basic concepts of Einf.i.d.Allgemeine Relativitätstheorie  to simple examples.

1 Special Relativity, Lorentz transformations, Minkowski Geometry 2 Differential Geometry, Manifolds, Vector fields and Lie-derivative, Tensor fields, Differential forms 3 Metric Geometry, Parallel transport, Curvature, Geodesic and Deviation equation, Cartans vector-valued forms 4 Equivalence principle and Einstein's field equations, Newtonian limit
