After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand komplex experiments and to work with them. They should also be familiar with the basic methods and rules of conducting  scientific work.

Execution of a minor scientific investigation within ongoing research programs at the Institute of Applied Physics.  Work of defined and limited scope is to be executed as independently as possible, and results need to be reported in a scientifically sound manner.  The project work prepares for the master/diploma thesis.  

The student should work on a research topic chosen from the current research program of the research work group.
