After successful completion of the course, students are able to comprehend the sujects presented in the lecture and to draw conclusions from them as well as to actively communicate the contents presented during the lecture.
Linear passive elements, linear networks with DC and AC, Kirchhoff's laws, Norton/Thevenin equivalent, superposition theorem, phasors and phasor diagrams, resonant circuits, transformer, basics of two-port networks, basic properties of semiconductors, diodes and rectifier circuits, zener diodes, transistors, field effect transistors, operational amplifiers, basics of digital electronics.
Registration to this course via TISS is compulsory!
Introduction: Wed 02.03.2021 via Zoom, followed by first lecture.
Further information, see download area on TISS (in German).
Two tests plus four sets of exercises to be done by the students. Please note that the tests will presumably be online via Zoom. For the online tests you need a stable internet connection, a camera in some distance from the computer or tablet (used for downloading the problems), and a possibilty to scan your answers to the problems (same procedure as for the physics tests in the 1st semester).
There might be possibilities for students without a sufficiently stable internet connections; this is still unclear.
Functions of complex variables, vectors, matrices, differentiation, integration.
