Aim of course

Introduction to the theory of matter-field interaction and coherent control of the corresponding dynamics

Subject of course

Quantum objects interacting with light (Bloch equation), ensemble effects (homogeneous/inhomogeneous broadening), interaction with quantized light (Jaynes Cummings mode),  decoherence induced by coupling to reservoir (Lindblad equation), and applications with Rydberg atoms (Rydberg molecules, Dipole-blockade, etc)
