After successful completion of the course, students are able to perform experimental studies of certain physical properties of superconducting materials at low temperatures (typically from 2 K to room temperature), to provide an interpretation of the obtained data and to summarize these scientific results in an academic thesis.
magnetic and thermodynamic characterisation of superconductors at low temperatures, interpretation of experimental results and writing of a scientific text, e.g. a Bachelor thesis
Discussion of a project plan, supervision of scientific experimental work, discussion of results and guidance in writing an academic thesis
submission of a project thesis (or Bachelor thesis)
solid state physics, materials science
