After successful completion of the course, students are able to transfer physical laws to mechanical models of kinematics, to explain and calculate their mathematical fundaments as well as to explicate and numerically describe motions and the behaviour of components under application of force.
Kinematics of point masses, rigid bodies and the continuum. Forces, mass geometry and dynamics of rigid and deformable bodies (strenght of materials), stability of solutions.
During the oral lecture the fundamental equations are derived, problems calculated and case studies discussed with the help of different visual resources.
One written test during the semester, oral and/or written examination at the end of the semester.
Application is currently locked manually.
A script is offered. It is also available at the TUWEL course.
