After successful completion of the course, students are able to perform tacheometric measurements independently and in self-organization and to evaluate them with specially implemented functions (Matlab or Python) as well as with geodetic calculation programs (specifically: rmGeo), and to create plans with CAD programs (specifically: GeoMapper and BricsCAD). This should enable the students to understand the chronological process from geodetic survey to evaluation and plan generation and to reproduce the acquired knowledge in high quality in future projects.
Tachymetric measurements of a given object, geodetic evaluation with commercial software rmGeo and comparative by (partial) implementation of own functions in Matlab or Python, plan generation with two CAD programs (BricsCAD and GeoMapper)
Introduction in the use of geodetic computation programs and CAD software (rmGeo, GeoMapper, BricsCAD), indpendently performing measurements with a total station and processing of measurement data
2 submissions of the geodetic evaluations and one final submission of the generated plans
