After successful completion of the course, students are able to plan and conduct GNSS observatioms as well as to process the collected observations. Furthermore, the students will understand and classify the methodology of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
Introduction to Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) with GNSS; GPS segments; GPS signal structure; signal acquisition; tracking and demodulation; multipath and interference, error budget and availability; Single Point Positioning (SPP) with pseudoranges; Differential GPS (DGPS); velocity estimation with Doppler observations; relative point positioning with carrier phases, Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS; GLONASS, Galileo und other GNSS and augmentation.
