Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to name types of measurement deviations, properly apply  propagation methods, apply statistical tests to assess data quality, name essential aspects of precise measurement methods for angle, distance and 3D point determination, determine the datum of a geodetic network, describe precision in a geodetic network, outline staking out

Subject of course

Methods of engineering geodesy, uncertainty and tolerance, statistical methods, tests and calibration of geodetic instruments, precise determination of horizontal angles, distances, distance changes and 3D-position, setting out, special instruments for tasks related to construction and engineering (lecture in German).
