After successful completion of the course, students are able to assess the characteristics of electrical measuring sensors and to evaluate their applicability for corresponding tasks of engineering geodetic monitoring. They know the most important models of deformation analysis and are able to detect and statistically evaluate rigid body movements and deformations in a geodetic network.
Reliability theory, Electrical measuring sensors, Tiltmetre, Pendulum, Surveying gyroscopes, Engineering Geodesy in tunnel construction, Deformation Analysis: Congruency Model, Affine Transformation, Introduction to Technical Mechanics und Finite Elements Method, Kinematic Kalman-Filter, Dynamic models
Slide script with slides in English language; discussion of the results of sensor investigations and of selected project examples
Discussion of practical situations to which learned lesson tasks needs to be transferred
