After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain in detail the technique Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) (including modelling of the observations and parameter estimation), the determination of global reference frames and the transformation with Earth orientation paramters between them.
Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI), modelling VLBI observations, estimation of geodetic parameters with VLBI, global terrestrial and celestial reference frames, Earth orientation parameters
During the oral examination, which takes about 20-25 minutes, students have to answer questions in a conversation. Eventually, it is necessary that the students draw sketches. Exemplary questions are provided in Tuwel.
Usually, oral exams take place every second Monday per month in the afternoon. Please contact the lecturer per email with the request for a date.
