After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the workflows at a geodetic fundamental station. They are able to explain how the space geodetic techniques in Wettzell work (VLBI, SLR/LLR, DORIS, GNSS) and how they are connected to finally come up with a combined terrestrial reference frame.
Visiting the Geodetic Observatory Wettzell, which runs all geometric space geodetic techniques: VLBI, SLR/LLR, DORIS, and GNSS, as well as other instruments such as a ringlaser or gravimeters.
