After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

• calculate statistical parameters,
• determine the effect of measurement uncertainties in calculations,
• solve overdetermined systems of equations using the least squares method, and
• perform simple statistical tests.

The adjustment algorithms discussed in the lectures are used to solve simple examples taken from surveying and GIS practice

In winter term 2021/22 the lecture will be held in a hybrid mode. The first two meetings are planned in presence, but will also be accessible via Zoom.The following Toom-room will be used:

The organisation of the remaining meetings will depend on feedback from the participants and the development of the Covid pandemia (resp. on the demands of the university). The presentations will be live.

The lecture hall is booked for the compelet winter term and can be used to access the online meetings (with 50% of it's capacity). The availability can change during the winter term.

The tests are planned to be online, too. There will be a time limit to solve arithmetic problems and send them to the lecturer by email.
