Principals of a cadastre, histroic development of the cadastre, responsibilities and competences of the cadastre in Austria, tasks and the role of the BEV- Federal Odffice for Metrology and Surveying, the processes in the cadastre and the land register, the network of surveying points in Austria, structure and maintainance of the real estate databease, the development of the Digital Cadastral Map, relevant law in the cadastre- in particula the ordinance for surveying, access to cadastral information- the webportal of the BEV, international issues
