After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

• perform advanced PostGIS-queris;
• tune the performance of spatial databases;
• perform requirements engineering activities;
• conduct adequate statistical tests;
• implement a GIS in a given project context.

The topics covered in this lab are closely related to those presented in the lecture (see there for an overview). Having said this, students are required to submit a project work at the beginning of week 14; while autonomous project work is of major importance for this lab, a doctoral student will help to solve issues arising on a regular basis during the lab sessions.
