For students with no prior JavaScript programming skills, attendance of the accompanying JavaScript tutorial is recommended, but not strictly necessary to complete the lecture.
Students will do 3 practical assignments and 1 final group project which are graded with points. For each group there will be one oral hand-in examination appointment to verify that all group members contributed to the solution. The overall grade is based on the total points for the assignments and hand-in examination.
Parallel attendance of VU 127.045 "Web Mapping" is highly recommended, as the necessary prerequisite knowledge is taught there and the group assignment can be done in an integrated manner.
If parallel attendance of VU "Web Mapping" is not possible, basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and web technologies is required.
