Media play an important role for the transmission of spatial related data. In many cases the same content has to be adapted to various media. Therefore the use of cross-media publishing is one important aim. The aim of this lecture is to give an overview of usable media, their characteristics and actual processes for the transmission of spatial information.

Practical part: globe, raster image processing, vector image processing, desktop publishing (folder), 3D animation (subject to modifications!)
