This course accompanies you in producing a well-designed map for a self-defined topic: From planning the product, acquiring the data, to implementation and checking the usability.
Please note the course type “project”: Projects allow you to apply previously acquired knowledge to achieve a comprehensive larger task. There are no lectures or exercises.
We recommend creating an analog map product (paper, 3d-print, wood-cutting, ...). You should already be familiar with the technology you need to implement your project – or you should be willing to learn it on your own.
A guest lecturer, who will be regularly available for questions and feedback, supervises large parts of the course.
After the introduction session, important news will be distributed through TUWEL. Also reports are submitted through TUWEL. Make sure you have access. In case of problems or questions, please contact the lecturer in time.
You need to submit four written reports over the course of the semester and will get feedback from the lecturers. Once during the semester, every participant presents the state of their project to their colleagues. The grade is based on the quality of the final product as well as on reports and presentation.
Please note: All students who submit at least one report and do not deregister until the given date, will get a grade and a certificate. If needed, please deregister in time!
