Aim of course

The course explains how to understand and use aerial photograph, orthophoto and satellite images and theirs digital/analogue cartographic presentations to obtain information about a wide variety of geoobjects. Those data resources are very important for regional planning.

1) Aerial photograph, orthophoto and satellite images versus cartographic map 2) Aerial photograph: image-interpretation, image-geometry, image-scale, 3) Measuring and data acquisition in single prints and stereoscopic 4) Orthophoto: image-interpretation, image-geometry, image-scale 5) Cartographic visualisation of collected data - Desktop Mapping 6) Satellite image interpretation: data acquisition with SW IDRISI
